I was born in Norman, Oklahoma and grew up in the Spencer / Jones area. I began playing instruments in the 5th grade at 12 years old. I started with the snare drum, toms and concert percussion instruments. I went to many state championships for band in high school as well as marched in several big parades. I started the drumline at Jones High School and was offered a band scholorship at both OU and OSU but decided not persue it . Shortly after high school I started playing my first drum kit, a Ludwig vistilte set. Jamming with a few of my friends' bands opened up the desire to persue joining a band of my own, and I played with that band until joining Siva Addiction.

I have used Tama drums and Sabian cymbals but made the switch to Risen drums and Zildjian cymbals in 2009.  I also use DW hardware and Trueline drumsticks. My influences include Korn, Limp Bizkit, Deftones and Sevendust.
